For those trying to play SOLO
This map, while fantastic, is not designed for a single player experience. For those that want to try it by themselves and see all the content, here are some console commands to help even the odds.
Keep in mind, this still makes it quite tough, but balances it back in your favor enough to have an enjoyable and long-term playthrough.

ENABLING DEVELOPER-CONSOLE
==============================
(If you don't know how to access your console, right click Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in your steam library, go to the "General" tab, then click "Set Launch Options", then type in the following: "-console" (no quotations), click OK and then launch the game normally, pressing your ~ tilde key to open and close the developer console which will be open by default when the main menu loads up.)
==============================
(Text blacked out contains spoilers about wave contents. If you don't want this to be spoiled for you, don't hover your cursor over the blacked out text.)

(1) map workshop\787980533\survival_hardcore
- Launches a private offline game into Survival Hardcore (The workshop number should be the same for everyone, but in case I'm wrong and this does not work for you, then you should type " maps * " in console, locate your survival_hardcore workshop map, and type it in as it shows in your list.)

(2) sv_cheats 1
- To allow cheat-based commands

(3) give weapon_negev
- Gives you a negev. If you want a less powerful/different weapon, replace "negev" with any of the other weapon names, which can be found in a list here.)

(4) sv_infinite_ammo 1
- Allows you to shoot infinitely, never needing to reload
OR
sv_infinite_ammo 2
- You never run out of reserve ammo, but your clip will empty, requiring reloading. This is MUCH harder though, and will really show in later waves

(5) bind n "bot_crouch 1"
AND
bind j "bot_crouch 0"
(QUOTATIONS REQUIRED WHEN TYPED IN CONSOLE) - These binds are your panic button. Some enemy special attacks are a one-hit kill (such as the Deathclaw enemies), which can be seen as a little unfair when you are playing alone and it essentially means the end of your game if caught by one. If you feel you are incapable of defeating a one-hit-kill enemy when it spawns, press your N key and it will cause all alive enemies to crouch (with reduced leap range) until you hit your J key and allow them to run again. This makes it much easier to kill larger, tank-y enemies with one-hit-kill attacks while still having them pose a threat to you. It is recommended to only use your panic button if a one-hit-kill enemy spawns, and release your panic button (by hitting J) immediately after the one-hit kill enemy you cannot handle is dead. If this isn't enough for you, feel free to modify your panic button to be a straight-up game-pause button by changing "bot_crouch 1" to "bot_stop 1" and "bot_crouch 0" to "bot_stop 0" when typing in the key bind command. This will disable all movement and A.I. of all living bots until you hit your J key again.

(5) sv_accelerate 50
- This gives you DOOM-esque movement, allowing you to go from a full-stop to maximum running speed immediately with no delay, as well as change running directions on a dime. This will be useful for later waves that are likely to require you running around in order to take less damage, even with your negev and infinite ammo.

EXTRA TIPS FOR SOLO-PLAY
=======================
(Text blacked out contains spoilers. If you do not want to spoil yourself, do not hover your cursor over it!)
  • The only thing you'll need to craft from Weapon Crafting stations is armor. Don't bother with anything else.

  • Use the Gameplay Crafting station to refill your health by upgrading it 50+. Even if you have a maximum of 2000 health and are down to only 300, upgrading your health shoots it back up to maximum, and can be done mid-wave!

  • Don't bother with turrets until at least wave 6+ or later, when you have 15,000 SCORE to spare and can get a single turret up to level 2, or 3 level 1 turrets in placements of your choosing established all in one go. Anything less, and simply focusing your fire with your Negev will end up being vastly better anyway, resulting in a less valuable use of points.

  • Never NOT upgrade your health. It might seem silly at first, especially if you have never played the map beyond the first 15-or-so waves before, but later on, even with your cheats stacked on, there are waves that WILL take you down by well over 1000 health easily. Be sure to upgrade your health at least 1-3 times during each break interval, and upgrade/construct your turrets with the remaining points.

  • When crafting something, it is extremely useful to press the E key as the item is being crafted, as this cancels you out of your locked position during the progress bar, which leaves you immobile and helpless otherwise. Especially during waves when you're taking too much damage to handle and choose to camp the Gameplay Crafting station, be sure to press E after selecting a purchase to gain your control back as the item/upgrade continues to craft, and will be given to you upon completion.

  • Don't bother with walls at least until before wave 10 for when enemies with firearms show up, such as raiders. They are not very good for building on non-flat ground as they tip over easily and can even get you stuck inside them, forcing a replacement, and are also breakable with enough damage, such as from a turret. Instead, plant mines, which are cheaper and can really help if you set them in a condensed area and lure a tougher enemy over them. A competently positioned mine-cluster could even be a valuable substitute for use of your panic-button if you know which waves contain boss enemies. You'll definitely want a few walls established by wave 20+, though.

  • KEEP IN MIND!!! using sv_infinite_ammo 1 effects bots as well! Enemies with firearms, such as raiders, will never have to stop shooting either! While this is still manageable simply by finding cover, luring armed enemies near your turrets, and corner-peaking combat, you may or may not feel the need to switch to sv_infinite_ammo 2 to force them to reload as well when they show up! Their relentless marksmanship with headshots will really screw up your aim and devour your health

  • Turrets cannot shoot parasites. The hitbox for parasites is too short, and turrets simply fire overtop them doing no damage (except for the turret at the bottom of the stairs, which, if upgraded enough, can shoot a parasite going up the stairs and be briefly aligned with it). Make sure to focus on parasites, as you are, for the most part, on your own in dealing with them, and they can get back stabs on you as well. Don't ignore them and let them cluster up simply because they seem like insignificant targets!

(Will update this if/when new/better tips/commands are discovered by me/others)

Edit: 5/20/2017 CS:GO has since been updated to modify the behavior of the negev, allowing it to be almost precisely accurate if you continue firing. This might result in a boring and much less challenging solo experience, as this guide was written before the Negev was changed to only cost $2000 and also be hella useful specifically for spray-and-pray tactics. If it proves too valuable to the point you are not having fun because everything is too easy to kill, just remember to either use sv_infinite_ammo 2 instead, meaning you will have to reload your negev but never replenish reserve ammo, or simply spawn yourself an m249 with sv_infinite_ammo 1 instead via the give weapon_m249 command instead of the give weapon_negev command.
