This might help
So I did some digging and referenced this with what I got, and the tanks seem to be the whippet tanks referenced in my University of Arizona dissertation as arriving in 1938. While I did know the tanks were bought, I had no clue if they were manufactured on license by Mexico or what specific tanks they were until now.
So this version of the mod is unchanged as whippet tanks are not modeled, but the BICE mod will probably include this as whippet tanks do exist in BICE.
I try to keep this mod to have unique native Mexican designs because the player might wage war on the US and it makes no sense for Mexico to have US-bought equipment, I even have a portrait for the Tezuitlan plane to be Mexico's Fighter II.
The forum itself is good for modern Mexico and its future, like if I were to make a millenium dawn submod, but its lacking for anything really early.
Currently, I need photos and artist recreation of the PROFILES (side view) of these things:
PLANES:
- Lascurian Celia (Mexican army asked for a military variant, but was never produced. This mod will be the what-if Lascurian actually went through with the contract. It was said to be one of the most aerodynamic planes ever tested.)
- Salinas IV (I am unsure if it could be kitted out for military work like the Celia was, I need the specs for it)
- Lascurian Aura (This is what killed Lascurian when an imported engine had a blowout, it was said to be unnaturally agile for its size).
GUNS:
- The Mendoza experimental assault rifle and submachine gun that were rejected by the Mexican army. Not the bipod heavy machine gun that served in the evolution.
TANKS:
- TNCA SALINAS
OTHER:
- ANY NATIVE DESIGN the Mexican army considered that isn't in this list. I don't care if it was never put into actual production. I am more than happy to put "paper" weapons that only exist in drawn plans and not in real life.
ALSO: If you have a list of ship designers in Mexico during this era, I will be happy to hear it. The history off the Mexican military is decently recorded, but the Mexican Navy is almost nonexistent and the only records I can find are manifests of shipping routes.
Welcome to the 3 months of research I did for this mod. You know know how I feel. I don't expect anyone to have anything on these guns.
So far, the gun progression will look like this:
Mondragon - > Fusil Mexico -> mendoza submachine gun -> Mexico's FG42
I looked at the RM2 and the FG42 and noticed the basic shape is largely the same, meaning the Mexican assault rifle was more in line with a Sten gun than the layout we expect from modern rifles.
Mendoza was eccentric and his way of designing guns was unique.
It is entirely likely the assault rifle was a RM2 carbine with the magazine off to its side but I need confirmation before I make the plunge.
Mauser M98 -> Mondragon M1908 -> M1928A1 -> M3 Grease
I like yours better as it works better chronologically
Mondragon M1908 -> Fusil Mexico -> Mendoza Submachine gun/ HM-1 -> Fusil de Asaulto
You can found more info here, if you need than i traslate something in special, just say it.

PD: In the northern states of Mexico a lot of investors came after the Mexican Revolution and a lot of mines were did, if you want put it as a National Focus. Also, the southern states often get floods and natural disasters, if you want search if one happened in the world war 2 period.
And for example, in the City of Hermosillo, of the State of Sonora at the northern of Mexico Ford invested and build a important Cars Factory, but it propel the Industrialization of the North of Mexico.
I did find it, but the tech tree localization for Mexico is unfinished. So far all it has is a tech for great war tanks.
What is really going to be hard is the recreation of the planes.
I did know about mine nationalization, but that got put on the back burner because I didn't want to flood the player with Modifiers. Especially when it would be the 3rd bonus to resource output.
If you have a list of inventors, I'd love to see it.
While I would appreciate it, I found that historical divisions would give Mexico 36 divisions with 1 infantry. Mexico abolished the divisional structure during this time, so 36+ divisions with empty templates outside 1 infantry and 1 engineer only made starting out as Mexico being completely busywork of trying to repair your broken templates.
