The United Stated declared war on me in the first month without justification, while playing as Mexico. I really love this mod, but this overwhelming invasion makes it unplayable at the moment.

The civil war bug is known, but its fix is eluding me as it seems to rely on some archaic loading and side steps. I've been tearing the files apart trying to find a fix.

What other mods are you using? If any at all? I've tested this mod plenty of times and that never happened.

EDIT: I tested it again, no war. Are you trying to fire the PEMEX focus right off the bat?

I am using quite a lot of mods actually, but none that should affect Mexico in any way. What do you mean by the PEMEX focus, it occured in the first month, so I couldn't have researched it yet?

PEMEX is a focus in the focus tree right after the Exile Calles event. If you take it too early AND without the historical focus box checked, you will go to war with the United States.

What exactly happens when you go to war? Does a newspaper come up?

Ah I see, well I couldn't have focused that yet since I was in the first month (declared war on 20 January). Though I must say if I turn off all my other national focus mods, it doesn't appear to happen anymore. So maybe it is a mod conflict after all.
Thanks for your help anyway, it seems to work fine now :)

Do you happen to have war plan green? That might be the reason.

Which national focus mods do you have?

I tested a bit and I think I just screwed up the time I played with Mexico initially. I think I may not have turned off the 'allowdiplo' command, allowing the US to instantly declare war lol. (I used it to be able to justify a war goal against Guatemala)
Sorry for the inconvience and thanks for the effort spent!
Also, great mod, keep up the good work!

Selecting Juan Azcárate as air reform gives no buff and then removes the ability to select an air reformer

I am looking into it, but there seems to be nothing wrong with acarate on a code level. I'll look into over the next couple of days, but my suspicion is that his trait is bugged.

I am actually not sure if the Juan gives his trait or not, however as soon as he is selected the cheif of airforce symbol dissapears. It also appears that Juan does not have a portrait which may be whats causing this. his portrait looks like an infantry helmit symbol and is possibly placeholder for an empty portrait and the game then puts the empty space into the Cheif of Airforce spot causing it to dissapear. i'm not sure if that is how it works, i'm not a modder and i will not pretend i am.

I found another air reformer in the base game, and he doesn't show up in active modifiers either. It seems its either a developer oversight and the modifier DOES appy, or air reformers are all broken in the base game. Either way, its not a problem with this mod itself.

And just to be clear is it only for me that i can no longer change air reformers after i pick juan or is that an actual issue?

I managed to switch back and forth between him and someone else. I don't see it locking up.
