Farewell Chenming is a unique map where the Left 4 Dead 2 Survivors apparently steal a car in the United States, and then drive it to the People’s Republic of China during the zombie apocalypse (somehow).

The first two maps are fine, but once you actually get into China in Chapter 3 ‘Town’, it becomes a lot less clear what is happening or what you’re supposed to do (probably because things are written/spoken in Mandarin and there are barely any English tips provided). Chapter 3 is also a bit too long and features not one, but two Crescendos, one Moderate Gauntlet event, a brothel full of Witches (which can be bypassed fairly easily, but has goodies inside if you can clear it), and a scripted Tank event; which is a bit too much for a single level, thus making it very difficult overall. Chapter 3 is also not super generous on health supplies or ammo, even if you explore everywhere, thus making it even more challenging. The Survivor bots also notably get stuck a lot in Chapter 3.

The Finale on Chapter 4 ‘Square’ is a Defend-Double Tank-Defend-Quadruple Tank in a wide-open area. As long as everyone uses Snipers, this Finale is extremely easy, up until the Quadruple Tank spawn.

However, we discovered on our first try that the extra Tanks will suicide eventually due to Frustration if you just kite them and run laps around the perimeter of the level, which made it a very easy Finale overall.
