Have the new enemies without increasing difficulty level
Please note I am not complaining. I think this mod is awesome and maybe one day when I am younger (oh wait can't go that direction, only older and slower) :steamhappy: I would love to give it a try. I admit that I am just the casual player, but I love to load my games with mods of all types to get the ultimate gaming experience, as I usually don't play titles I complete twice unless they were good.

My question as stated in the topic, is there a mod like ABA 2 that adds all the new bad guys (60 I think it said) but without increasing the difficulty in terms of damage, number of extra pods, etc. So mainly I am looking to add more bad guys but without making any dificulty changes.

From whbat I have read, it appears that changing the POD drops (reinforcements) for each mission was going to take hours in addition to the number of bad guys that first appear and how oftetn. You mentioned you put in a different ini to reduce the pod level, can that be edited to say keep vanilla amount of reinforcements.

As I said I am not against the difficulty so please no flaming. Since I am more casual I just wanted to add more bad guy variety while still being able to get past the first mission or two without having nothing but dead squaddies on my hand.

Any advice or suggestion.

You could take a look at the original A Better ADVENT mod. It doesn't have the recent additions to the enemy roster, but it is a pretty sweet mod on its own, if i may say so :D

That one comes only with the enemies and the AI changes, the pod modifications were in a different Add-On mod and you can simply not install it.
Please note that the new enemies and especially the AI changes do increase the difficulty significantly already. So you should start out a difficulty level lower than usual.

Or you could install a cocktail of various mods with single enemies found on the Workshop.

i have the Long War 2 mod already installed. I was hoping that the mod config menu might allow me to turn certain things on and off. So I assume I would have to use A Better Advent (LW) version if I was.

While on the topic, is there a LW for xcom eu/ew, since I haven't looked into the mod scene on that game yet.

Can add new enemy - neonatal Viper? For me it's interesting the enemy at the early stage of the game.

That thing from the DLC? I wanted to do that after the DLC came out, but there were some issues with just adding it to the random spawn list... although i don't remember what it was off the top of my head. I can doublecheck some time, sure.
