So, I was doing some testing to see if this mod can work in the year of our lord 2020. I discovered a few things while faffing about.

1. No Local 8 players in any way (sorry remote play with friends, but wait!)

2. You can invite other players into your game to reach the maximum 8 players!

3. Using the Hosts exclusive ability to add their own local players, (which is cool in of it self) You can remote play with friends the extra 3 slots! (There we go!)

4. A player randomly joined my session of testing, and seemed to have no clue what was going on. We didn't jump into any games, but you might be able to use the 8 player mod with total randoms who don't have it downloaded!

So, if all of this works as I've said, (which I think it should) you can play with 8 friends online with only 5 copies of duck game! It's a bummer local doesn't work yet, but anything is possible. Have fun and drop a quack in game for me.
