yes true, but I like it like this, although I would like it to give off more heat(colour wise) and also look more liquidy.

I couldn't really decide whether I preferred realism or something that just straight up looks nicer, but since having it pretty slow simply doesn't feel right, I went for a faster animation.

The main issue is how the sprite I am using for the splashes doesn't have that many animation frames, so playing it slowly looks a bit stuttery and odd as well.

But it is a valid point indeed, I would've done it differently if it didn't come with downsides!

I think it needs a glob direction, volcanoes erupt, not explode; think about making it shoot more upward from the head

I would personaly tell you to keep it. It has that nice splash going on like some of the effects such as the anti-freeze and roboactive from the robotic boogaloo.

in my opinion slowing it down would be a good idea, but not too much su i looks like it´s erupting
slowing it down too much could ruin it,if this gets added it will be a very high tier unsusual

I like it. Keep it the way it is!
