Loki vs. Loki Prime appearance
Unless there has been a mesh change on the body somewhere that I can't discern, I might have to cry a little that it won't look 100% slick on my Loki Prime...
Do you peeps know if this will change, or there will be a way of changing this in future?

I am afraid I do not understand your question. What is the concern?

Sorry, it was a poorly phrased question:
My problem is that when you use a prime frame, any of the extra parts that it has on it will show up on any reskins that are equipped, e.g. Nyx vs Nyx Prime with the Athena skin - Nyx Prime will have extra bits on the chest and legs that Nyx doesn't have, and the Athena skin only shows through in between those parts.
Loki Prime has bits on his arms and legs, and I was thinking that they would show up over this skin, blemishing its overall appearance.
The only cases I know where this isn't the case is when there are mesh changes - such as with the Loki Deluxe Skin; you cannot see any difference to that skin whether you are using Loki or Loki Prime.
Is there any way around this that may be coming or?

Yeah, we don't have access to the extra parts on Primes, we can only do our best to make sure the base skin plus extra parts play nice together. We definitely had that in mind while working on this set, but yeah, the Prime parts will cover up some of this skin. TennoGen creators don't have control over the extra geometry being added on (but hopefully it should look good anyway).

Thanks for the response kaz - I'm sure its a difficult line to tread, as the skin alone looks good, and you may not be able to get a good impression, or even get a skin which looks good with both the base and prime versions (*furrowed brow*).

It would be interesting to know whether even the slightest change to the mesh would cause a conflict and disallow the Prime mesh parts to not show up?...

I still don't know why you can't use standard skins on primes (frames and weapons too) :'/

We can not change base models period. There is no option, regardless wether or not that Warframe has a Prime variant.

When DE accepts and takes a skin and imports it into Warframe the game, they are applying it to the existing model in-game. They are not applying a new mesh/model/geometry.
The only two exceptions to this are helmets; which are solid un-animated pieces of geometry that attatches to an existing skeleton to its corresponding Warframe body.
Or
Deluxe skins which are entire remodeled Warframes only made and produced by DE themselves.

TennoGen is restricted to Skins only of the natural Warframe model.

A designer can only create a design with the Prime variation in mind to help smooth out the differences. It would ultimately help if we did have Prime parts available to make these adjustments, but in the end Prime Warframes are not the focus of design and the disconnected visuals between a Prime Warframe and a skin not made for it is an unfortunate part of the process.

I hope we have answered your concernds adequetly.

That's great, thank you Volkovyi !

For some reason I thought there were skins people had made with different meshes - but if you don't have acess to them at all, then that answers my question.

100% answered, thanks again ;)

I was just thinking on it all out loud I guess, but the attention is appreciated :D

We can toggle prime parts on or off TennoGen Warframes now, just want to make sure people who find this thread know that :) I think the combo looks great with this skin!
