Report a translation problem
submit / verstuur / stuur / zend
Which one would suit best in your opinion, if we exclude "verstuur" (a tiny bit too long)?
The literal translation would be ‘Indienen’ or ‘Dien in’, but this very formal and normally reserved for forms, documents and formal requests.
In a machine/computer interface the term ‘submit’ is usually replaced by the action it represents, for instance ‘verzend’ (send) or ‘verstuur’ (send) , ‘opslaan’ (save), ‘bereken’ (calculate), ‘gereed’ (finished), ‘doorgaan’ (continue).
So, taking a closer look at this short but not so easy to translate term, I think ‘gereed’ would be the best.
Anyway, a literally empty entry should be part of the display texts, isn't it? In that case I would omit scherm, which is not as ambivalent as the English ‘display’.
we’re approaching release! There is one little thing I would like to have translated. I added a small decal on the modules with a language ID and version number. I fear some people might forget they have to set the mod to their language first. Another problem (same as with all mods) is when I make a rule changing update in the future. Not a problem, if you play directly from the (updated) .pdf files, but a huge problem for people playing with printed manuals, as it is highly likely they won’t notice the update.
Long story short, could you translate this paragraph:
“Make sure there is a bar code decal on the module labeled ‘NL v1’, otherwise this is not the correct manual.”
(This[web.personal-webspace.de] is how it looks)
Translated Modules Mod
I'm planning to go continue and add the remaining modules, that have translatable text on them. Would you like to translate them, too?
Details here. If you're on board, I suggest creating a new thread in the discussions of the new mod.
