Couple Tiny Problems and Minor Critiques.
Hey man. Nice map, I really like it. Its kinda wide open and constricted at the same time. I spent about 45 minutes looking over the map. Couple problems right off the bat would be the sheer amount of jagged edges. I cant run against any wall without hitting corners or ledges. Windows, doors, wooden pillars. They shouldnt really clip, because it impedes rotation/getting to site etc. Its really aggravating too.
A couple spots coming towards the main entry to A (T-Side) have some self-boost spots. I was able to boost myself up at the box tower at the stairs without any aid, and I could jump and kinda scale/surf across the rock wall. Nothing major, because neither really offer advantage.
Also, the skybox is fricking huge. Im pretty much able to stand in the back of T-site and throw smoke grenades that block off B site, allowing for a really quick bomb plant. I dont know if this has been addressed yet. Other than that, 2 guys seem to be able to hold off B easy enough. Its pretty easy to get to Mid on either side. Thats good, it makes you have to work for map control. I dont really like the purposeless set apart walls, though. I was coming from connector onto B and saw it from an angle as I entered, and my initial response is "Did this guy forget part of the wall or something?" It seems really pointless, since it doesnt offer anything to the Ts and CTs already have pretty strong places to hold down site.
Thats about the extent of my critique. Its a really great map though. It plays pretty nice and I like the set up. Stays true to a pretty strong map form. If you ever get a server set up for it, Id be glad to help test out how it plays in Casual and DM and whatnot. Cheers mate. :)
