SkyUI cannot differentiate between enchanted and non-enchanted weapons of the same name.
I think this is a problem with SkyUI itself, and I hope this is fixed in the next update. I have two Elven daggers. I enchanted one, but left the other one alone. When I try to dual-wield them, things work fine. In the favorites menu, the two daggers are on separate lines, which makes sense since one is enchanted. However, when I try to put both daggers in one group, only one can be present. Putting the non-enchanted dagger into the group "replaces" the enchanted one instead of being added below it, and vice-versa. Dual-wielding daggers is essential to certain stealth tactics, and unfortunately I am not able to fast-wield a non-enchanted Elven dagger and an enchanted one. I'm pretty sure it's because the favorites menu of SkyUI cannot differentiate between the two.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Taking advantage of the subject, is there some public function in some SkyUI menu that I could call to check if an object was enchanted by the player? I searched the SKSE API but there is nothing there available to Papyrus.

Similar problem. Cannot set two similar weapons with the same name when they are same row for dual weild group. It takes either left or right, not both unlike spells. Please support dual weilding in different scenarios

Found some roundabout way by tricking the UI, but its definately a bug
