Can I still run Steam mods without Nexus?
Hello everyone

Like I do not real find Nexus to be easy as some people say it is,
I do wish to use SkyUI but I do not want to use Nexus, I did try using SKSE.
But to safely add these files and easy remove just in case I do not want it anymore I need Nexus mod launcher or something like that.

If there is anyway around Nexus let me know,
if not im sorry to waste your time but thanking you for giving me the time.

Nexus is only needed to install/uninstall some mods, after they are properly installed you can just launch from SKSE and they should all run fine.

Thanku for the help, I do want to ask how does it work then? I got two shortcut's of the game, so your saying even if im using Nexus/SKSE it will also run my steam mods?

Pretty sure you can still run mods without Nexus. On the Skyrim launcher, there is a "Mods" button that you can click where it will show you all the mods you have installed and a checkbox next to each one you want enabled.

The SKSE shortcut is required for a few of the add-ons out there that are more in-depth I believe, since it's a "script extender". I believe SkyUI is one of those add-ons that need to run with the SKSE shortcut.

Thanks for your help, guess modding is not for me haha, not realy a wiz kid so think I better without so much tech stuff you got to do haha, thanks once more for your help im very grateful!
