SkyUI denies SKSE exists.
As a preface; SKSE is installed correctly and all other mods that it use are work flawlessly. And I am, in fact, launching Skyrim from the SKSE launcher. So we can skip the "hurr durr" fixes, this isn't one of those.

My only problem is with SkyUI, which consistantly denies SKSE is installed. The only aspect of the mod that functions is the inventory screen's format. The item icons are white blocks, the mod config option is absent from the menu, and I have a 5 second delay every timeI open my inventory or a container.

Please help.

Resolved. Contrary to everything I've ever found on the subject, NOT running the SKSE loader as an administrator fixes the problem.

For me it was exactly the opposit of this. I turned "administrator" on and now I don't have problems with this anymore. :)

I`m not sure... what does now work and what not?! I`ll install this and the script extender, but I need to know, if this works or make trouble on my german laptop! So please! :D

Hello, for you who still get the error, an alternative solution which worked for me: Try copying NOT the whole "Data" folder from the "skse_1_06_16" folder when installing SKSE - copy ONLY THE CONTENTS OF THIS FOLDER - which is pretty much only the "scripts" folder. On my computer, I copied the whole Data folder and it made a new Data folder inside the already existing. If this doesn´t work, well, try turning "run as administrator" on an off as the guys above me or try to modify the load order of SkyUI - put it to the end. These are the 3 solutions which exist and work at the moment - and pretty randomly. I hope that some will work for you :)
