Industrial mini forge nerf?
I could swear this would produce 20 ingots at a time before. Now it's only making one ingot per 'craft' was there a nerf I missed in the change log or is something wrong on my end perhaps?

Industrial Forge != Mini Forge
Are you using the low-tier forge or the high-end forge?

That's the low-tier forge. It is the same as a standard vanilla beginner forge, but with options to balance between, auto-pull, and ini speed changes. The higher-tier forge still crafts the 20 per craft.

The "AA:: Industrial Mini Forge" and the "AA:: Mortar and Pestle" are brand new items just added this past week.

Must have been nerfed in the past few days than, It was producing 20 metal per craft when we first built it.

The description inside the forge says "Smelting speed adjustable via ini" -- I'm just not sure where/how to adjust that.

I'm burning through 1 wood/minute with no decent results :(

Just found this on the net:

http://ark.trgame.de/joomla/index.php/mods-plugins?showall=&start=1

"(ini option for speed coming soon) The forge is also 60% smaller than a normal forge."

So, maybe be patient??

In the GameUserSettings.ini

[ArkAutomatedSettings]
ForgeSmeltingMultiplier=2 ***The big one (20 per smelt)
MiniForgeSmeltingMultiplier=1 ***The little one (1 per smelt)

(I have mine set to 3 rather than 1. Still one ingot per smelt, but its 3x faster than the refining forge.)

Please look at the other information pinned in the 'discussions' tab to find setup info. Here you go:

*****Industrial Mini Forge*****
MiniForgeSmeltingMultiplier=

1 = vanilla forge speed, creating 1x every 20 seconds
20 = Industrial forge speed, creating 20 within 20 seconds, but 1 at a time, not all at once (it's not actually a multiplier, it's # per "crafting time").

Guys seriously all I asked was if the Mini forge I was using got nerfed or not. I didn't see any 'nerf' in the change log however my forge is now working differently than when I first started using it. Thanks for all your 'information'.

Well in that case, that extra information was for @bicestephen113.

And you did miss it in the change log:

Update: Nov 6 @ 6:52pm
-AA Mini Forge will now use Angler Gel, Sparkpowder, Wood, and Thatch as fuel
-AA Mini Forge speed reduced
-AA Mortar and Pestle Introduced!

speed does not equal amount made per craft just how fast it does said craft afaik but thanks

I just placed an AA:: Industrial Mini Forge down on Ragnarok without changing an ini settings.

I placed 50 wood and 50 metal inside and turned it on. It took approximately 20 seconds to create one metal ingot but it burned through 20 wood. Is this normal? Is wood not the right fuel?

Same issue here. Right now it's a very efficient charcoal maker. I didn't fiddle with the ini file at all. Just built it and started using it.

Also I can't really get pulling to work. Had to manually put stuff inside it. How would it know if it should pull oil+hide or metal? And what type of fuel to pull first?
bsmorgan 16 Apr, 2019 @ 10:10am
As we have discovered, wood turns to charcoal very quickly (by design) so wood isn't the fuel to use. Thatch or Sparkpowder burn at their normal rates. I used Sparkpowder to smelt metal. I do know that Scrap Metal doesn't get smelted. Perhaps it will when the mod is cooked with the latest dev kit.

I returned to base with my Anklyo + Argy and the metal was pulled automagically into the mini forge. I haven't tried to make gasoline yet.
