I know it's been awhile but in-case your question was never answered:

This is a normal problem with stack mods or any mod that has a resource in it that isn't cooked properly. This was more than likely caused due to pre-extinction dev kit reasons. S+ replicator has been having a similar issue. If you pick it up and put it back down there's a chance it will begin to work again if this is something you see happen again.
