Feeding Trough

So I've just installed this mod for the first time.
I've placed a Control Console, an AA: Generator and a few other structures.

However, the Trough doesn't appear to do anything more than take up space. I cannot even access it's inventory.
Am I missing something?

Unable to access inventory is usually a sign that you have put the structure too close to something else. Tried picking it up and placing it again?
