Confirmed issues (1.8.1) :
The image used for Tainted worlds looks strange when in the government view.
Prethoryn defense platforms and fortresses have wonky graphics when they're being built.
Prethoryn defense platforms have another defense platform attached to them
Randomly generated AI empires don't use either of the Swarm traits. This is intentional.
The Swarm Genetics infestation edict does not work on tomb worlds or ringworlds. This is
intentional.
Swarmling Worker pops get purged from Hive Mind empires
The Swarm Brood trait likely has many issues, including:
Events that rely on the player having the default country type will not work
Players are able to create ships from their spaceports when that shouldn't be possible
The hive mind traits that Swarm admirals have do not seem to change the player's naval
capacity
The various fleet-related events use global flags, so they only work for one player at a time
Saving while purging a planet and then loading will end the purge
Fighting other empires is currently quite buggy

Potential issues that have yet to be replicated (1.8.1) :
Both the Swarm Genetics and Swarm Brood traits prevent the player from integrating species
into their Hive Mind (haven't checked myself, but probably accurate)
Unable to make buildings on Tainted Worlds (might just be regular Infested Worlds, which is
intentional)
Can't communicate with empires when you have the Swarm Genetics trait (might be a case of
the wrong trait being saved)
