Actaeon, the fierce bear god. One of The Creators first creations. It is said that this great bear roamed the lands beside our Creator, as a loved companion. Fighting together to beat back the darkness that threatens to engulf our world. For ages the Creator and Actaeon protected our world. Guided us, protected us from harm. But now as the Creator sleeps it is left to Actaeon to be our protector, our guide to give us the wisdom and strength that we may need to defeat our enemies.
The ghost of the forest. Not many travelers have laid eyes on this elusive spirit. This great stag slides through the forest like shadows. Silently watching over his domain and protecting its inhabitants from afar. From the lucky few who have caught a glimpse of this magnificent stag it is said that the beast has a way of looking into your soul. Calming even the most aggressive of creatures, both man and beast alike. There is a story of long ago. Where a young girl wandered off into the forest one day to play. Not listening to the warnings of the elders, she strayed from the path and got lost. As the day grew longer she feared that she would never make it home. As she tried to find the path she stumbled across a hidden valley. A valley so serene and beautiful it took her breath away. And as she stood looking over the scene she saw a great stag standing by the stream, staring back at her as she stood in awe. Approaching the beast, slowly raising her hand to lay on his muzzle. The great stag lowering his head, let her place her hand upon him. This powerful Guardian, who could crush foes with a swipe of his great antlers, let the young girl pet him to her hearts content. Realizing that the day had now grown late and her family might be worried for her, the girl asked the powerful stag if he knew the way back to the village. Gently pulling away from the girl, the Guardian lowered himself to the ground and gestured for the young girl to climb onto his back. Awed that this great creature would allow her to ride him the girl gently climbed on to his back and the stag slowly stood up and made his way through the forest. It was growing dark just as they crested the hill overlooking the young girls village. Excited to finally be home the girl hopped off and thanked the Guardian before running to the gates. As she reached the giant gate of the village she paused to look back and the great stag was gone. No one has seen the Forest Guardian since that day, but the young girls story has been passed down from generation to generation...
