Factions
Bear Tooth Canyon, Malachites, Sterling Steppe, The Moon, Idocrasians, Golden Hills.
Use this board to discuss the factions.

Malachites - Specialize in crossbows and wood gathering. They have the Shaman, Malachite Crossbowman and Mounted Crossbowman as their unique units.

Bear Tooth Canyon - Specialize in high hitpoint hammer wielding troops. Bear Warrior, Bear Noble and Thief.

Golden Hills - Specialize in mining. Petard, Gilded footman and Gilded Knight.

Sterling Steppe - Specialize in mounted units - Light cavalry, Sterling Cavalry, Shock Cavalry and Sterling Pikeman.

Idocrasians - Specialize in infantry - Polearmsmen, Phalanx, Chieftan, and Scatter Troop.

The Moon - Good gold production - Monks, Longbowmen, Holy Paladins and Turma.

In the next update you will be able to talk to your smith and upgrade your units with denars. This will give denars more of a useful purpose in the game and allow you to improve the units that you use the most. Let me know what you all think about the balance of the faction troops so far.
Some special abilities
Thiefs - gain gold for your civ with each kill they make.
Shaman - Self heal with each enemy they kill.
Petard - Detonates killing all nearby units.
Shock Cavalry - Use the Sterling Rammer Horse with an extremely high charge.
Scatter Troop - fires multiple bolts at once. (Will be able to upgrade weapon to blunderbuss in the next update.)
Monk- Can convert enemy troops.

Wow really looking forward to the updates. RIght now I am just trying to learn more about each faction and their units. Is there a guide anywhere with all of this information? There are so many options but I dont know what they do.

it was annoying and i killed the khan multiple times too early when i didnt know
