oh, okay. And let me know please. Why is it so important to be able alphas could eat metal structures in a PVE mod. Because I know its for PVE. But there is a lot of server with players whom wants to play this in PVP.
In PVP the metal eating alphas are some kind of party killers.

They can destroy metal because they should be ones that ou fear, the ones you are affraid to lure to base to kill, not to make huge ass metal box base and belive you are safe form world ;)

Well, it's not that funny, when somebody with an alpha raptor, ptera or argenta wipe a huge base alone.
That's some kind of a FAILURE, i think ...

PVP problems with a PVE mod.

Like Nabbs said, it's a mod catered to PVE.
It implicitly says it's not made for PVP because of the things you are bummed out about.

People should really read the * manual.

BTW I am not against the wild alphas ability, to eat metal. I am talkin' about the tamed alphas, which could do that too ...

Well i think you should just get some better Turrets on the server (eventually the Annuaki Genesis Enchanced Turret) try to balance out what isnt supposed to be, as everyone told you its a PVE Mod, i got a PVP Server with 20 Mods, and also you can higher Structure Resistance in your .ini files what would help alot. Alphas, well those Guys are ALPHAS, the Badass form of a normal Dino, they got to be somehow special :D (My Opinion: balance it out for yourself)

Well, its PVE, I knew it before I made my 1st post here.

Please explain to me, why tamed alphas need the ability eating the metal structures.

The dinos and their damage are well balanced in EX. If I start to modify the resistance of the structures etc. I'll blow up the whole system. And in the end of it it sucks, when a new patch comes out for ARK or EX. with a damage changes.

So PVE fans, in a basicly PVP game, don't exclude or rule out "us", the ppl with PVP wishes.
Just give me the reason why you need the tamed alphas metal eating ability!?

Hey Kalk, the problem is that Extinction Core was invented to just be PVE. They eat them cause, yeah they are hungry too :D If you change the Resistance of your Structures i would say you would balance it, Extinction is a Mod with some OP creatures and you will actually feel better with more Structure Defense, See Alphas as the Predators, which are able to wipe around if you cant defend yourself. i guess you play on a high rate server with high taming speed? i suggest put this down to not get roamed down by 20 Alphas :D

I'am not playing on high rates server. This makes more funny, when you build a place for weeks, and a bastard goes throw on your base in 10 seconds.
Annunaki solved this problem like, wild dinos could eat metal, tamed not.

IN PVE YOU DON'T NEED TO EAT METAL WITH YOUR DINOS, BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT EVEN FIGHT WITH 'EM AGAINST STRUCTURES OR OTHER PLAYERS.

In other words... it made ark like any other mmo with unneeded remaps and gimmicks. Use simple spawners or do it by hand as I did before I got lazy and put that mod in, and put the dinos at the strengths you want and get human npcs, adjust them as well.

The EC NPCS disappear in front of you and then summon 8 alpha iguanodons or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that.

It isn't hard with a competent tribe. It's just funny when alpha scourge poison wyvern spawn INSIDE buildings lol...


Hand code stuff from all the expansions, jack up the bosses, let them roam and use Jurassic Park. They have roaming bosses too and is not a core mod.
