Server Settings wrong or not, please help
I need to convince the Server Admin of our small private Server.
We run with S+, EC and some other small Mods but none other that change Creatures, Spawns or Damage.
Alpha Dilo is one of the smaller Alpha's that someone can Tame or Fight. A wild Alpha Dilo (level 4 )on our Server deals more than 40k Damage (calculated with the Armor I wear with help of Wiki)
A Tamed Alpha Dilo (level 60, all points on Melee Damage) deals 26 Damage. Isn't this Absurd? Also Alpha Creatures and Bigger Normal Creatures have only between 4k and 9k Health, which would mean that nothing stands a Chance in fight versus the smallest wild Alpha Creature.
If I am right that a small Creature, even if its Alpha, should not destroy a 700% Primal Flak Armor Set with one single Hit, can someone explain me how the Admin can "easily" change that? I tried to get him on that, but he just sais "well its Exctinction Core, it is meant to be hard".
Don't consider me whining because of that, it's just that I farmed for days to get enough Iron and Hide to get my Armor upgraded so high and repairing is so damn expensive and is just not worth it if it breaks from a single Hit. Also Alpha's and Tribes just spawn everywhere. Rare Normal Creatures are non-existing on our Server.

In my humble opinion, not so much, It's not Absurd since all alphas deals multiplied damage to players but not for creatures. so please, don't even think about fair fight against alpha that insta kill you. use trap, tanking with tames, try anything you can.
Also, a small tip for alpha dilo. It can be chained by primitive bola. Even headshot work since it's a dilo. the rest? is up to you. most skilled players try to find a low level alpha dilo on a first day to kill and get some good ♥♥♥♥♥.
This mod is well designed to be "hard" for players that don't know what to do. so git gud, one day you might tame your alpha ptera on a first day of this mod game.

Thanks for your opinion. On your sentence to tame an own alpha dilo. I did that but I was disappointed. I leveled it a few days before trying the first fight but he failed miserable against a pack of Prime Dodos and on normal Dodos and other Creatures the Damage was too small. I could kill everything way faster with my Pike. On your Sentence about Damage against Players, I had a high level Griffin with 10k Health and it stood no chance against a Tribe'd Argentavis.

I mean my Point is, the Game with this Settings just seems to be about Kill or be Killed no matter what. I did not spent much to get my Rifle and I can kill all Alphas from Range with good Positioning if I want to. If I dont have higher ground I knock it out with one Dart before killing it. That's not the Problem. I just think the Damage/HP/Armor Ratios are way off. How can I kill an Alpha so easily with a Rifle that I got without much effort but my Armor that took days to Farm the Ressources for is just worthless? Also I need points in Weight to stay fast to be able to wear it BUT for my Rifle I need nothing and it is just overpowered.

Also if we are on the Matter of Taming own Alphas, I just HATE that we can only get the Kibble by Killing Tribes and they are so rare. How comes a Tribesman can Tame an Alpha but only dropping 1-2x of 2-3 Kinds of Kibble if you need 20-30x of that Kibble to tame your own Alpha. And you can't cook it with your Eggs because EC messes with the Vanilla Kibble Update Change.

O...k But let's rewind the mod back when it was still supported. once upon a time here were no "damage multiplier" for alpha creatures. But why this feature has been added? maybe "Psycho" thought the game is too easy, so add this for challenging, or maybe the community want this to be added. There was a times when "compound poison arrow" don't need bio-toxin to craft. now? gathering bio-toxin is a must-part to proceed taming bosses.

As you already know the mod developer "Psycho" has abandon EC due to financial problem and sold it's copyright to others(i heard it has been separated to design part and structure part each). so, there will be no more update with this mod, sadly.

So, i guess there are no points to saying about the balance nor broken mechanism, as those things would never changed. and also, server settings for specific tier are not provided.

* about the kibble, try to add supporting mod that can craft legacy kibble. i guess S+ and SS have an ini option to show legacy kibble in cooking pot menu.

** you may interest to see those doc's created by modder himself.

*** 40k Damage from lv 4 wild alpha dilo is too much rather than feature itself. [ a Rifle that I got without much effort ] also is if what you saying is about huge alpha creatures.(Rex, Bronto, Mammoth, Wyvern, etc). maybe check server settings related to damage/resistance multiplier.(like, PlayerDamageMultiplier, DinoDamageMultiplier, PlayerResistanceMultiplier, DinoResistanceMultiplier)

**** very best way to find out? test these on single player only with extinction core but no changes.
