Upgrade Station v1.8i
Single player default settings borked? (getting 400% damage weapons)
Hello,

I've been looking to create a better singleplayer experience, and I think this mod would be very good for this - However, I tested upgrading a longneck rifle from primitive to ascendant, and it endedup around 400% - I then spawned in 20 longnecks at quality 5 setting ("giveitemnum 132 20 5 false"), and they all ended up in the 200's somewhere..

With a few augmentations, upgrades etc, I'm making weapons at 600-700% damage, which seems unreasonable.

So I am wondering if this is the problem the game.ini listing: "bUseSingleplayerSettings=True" ?

I see no entries in my \\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini file - is this the right ini file, and is it correct that I should see no entries?

Thank you for the hard work on the mod, I really look forward to using it!

Nevermind.. It can be adjusted in the ini file. For others who don't know, you need to cut'n'paste from the wiki and add it to your GameUserSettings.ini file which is located in steam\...\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

I've been messing with the ini file a lot but I am still not happy. Once I have something that I feel - as a player who hasnt played endgame - works well, I'll paste it here. And if others have balanced ini files for single player, please start a new discussion with ini files for singleplayer.

The problem is currently the minimum value set by the ini is just barely less then max what the vanilla game does. I too have tried to make a balanced setting and its not really possible yet. I spoke to Gaz about a month or so back and he said he'd update the lower range. Though it seems he's currently swamped with his other mods atm.
