We have confirmed it is possible to exploit the system due to the Blueprint station allowing items to be turned into a print retaining gains gained by crafting skill, then taking the item and repeating it causeing the gain to stack in gamebreaking ways.

I removed mine from day one. Way too OP to begin with.

Bump, I posted a comment about not being able to introduce it to a server I am playing on because of this very issue. We would all LOVE to upgrade our items with crafting skills, but that issue is just too exploitable. Example: a 4000% sword made in short order by someone who had never seen the mod before. Can you imagine that quality on an assault rifle or shotgun?

yes i would like something done about this as i would also like to enable the blueprint station but with this problem its not worth it beccause someone will brake the server that is for sure.

I'd like to jump in on this as well.That's way over powering. We're already limiting the augmennt and blueprint station as is, but now I'm considering not allowing access to the blueprint portion at all if this can't be addressed.

I think the Skill based increase is capped, just over 735%, not much more than a top upgraded/augmented tool/weapon (which is at 700%).

I could be wrong but, from what i tried with the stone hatchet and pickaxe and the bow, they all have a cap of 735% damage and won't rise more.
I dropped Ark since they changed the crafting speed to skill, and just picked it up recently on a new server. So I haven't tested with other things yet.

With some random luck, a weapon can get over that 700% cap with the ascent to top level, so I think the blueprint station won't break much balance here.

The upgrade station compinsates by adding additional costs to craft. the bluprint station and augment station does not add costs. Wepons augmented should not be blueprintable, and Crafted item bonus should be disreguarded when turning into a blueprint past the first time crafting.

The Cheap maxed out weapons is the exploit. Maxed out weapons need to cost so much to produce it hurts thinking about the grind to make it.

honestly, i wish there was just a way to toggle this simply to keep the peons happy. I have my server cranking out lvl 1000+ dinos, you pretty much NEED exploited gear to do anything on foot.
