I'm assuming this is a mod conflict, though I can't seem to pinpoint the mod responsible, but everytime I load up the game it crashes before it can reach the main menu

i have launched it several times myself recently without issue. try turning off mods systematically and try to identify which one is breaking.

just tried loading it up again with no issue. try turning out of date mods off and see what happens

I've been experiencing crashes that, from the error.log file, may point to this mod. The log file is quite large (10mb in size) for a .txt file. Do you want to have a look at it? The last 4 lines in the file are:
[23:17:45][trigger_impl.cpp:2545]: Error in is_planet_class trigger, cannot find planet class with key: pc_orbital_megastructure
[23:17:46][texturehandler.cpp:171]: Texture Handler encountered missing texture file: gfx/map/star_classes/y_star.dds
[23:17:46][texturehandler.cpp:317]: Couldn't find texture file: gfx/map/star_classes/y_star.dds.
[23:17:46][planet.cpp:3066]: NDefines::NGraphics::PLANET_SCALE_SYSTEM does not match in size with NDefines::NCamera::ZOOM_STEPS_SYSTEM

I run with quite a few mods but most are just UI or ones that don't change vanilla files. Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT - Just wondering if this mod might have an issue with the Ringworld Restoration mod as it touches the '00_planet_classes' file.

the top one is referencing an issue with not finding a key with pc_orbital_megastructures, that might me megastructures mod. the two talking about the Y dwarf are because i didnt put in a texture for the Y star oon the map to make it have no light, and the last one ts talking about a mismatch in the ndefines file where i assume they should match. also im not overwriting any game files anymore so ringworld restoration should work fine. ill put in an empty texture to get the game to stop erroring but AFAIK im not the cause here.

i think it might be the mini-ringworld thats crashing as thats all i can think of that is a planet in the mod.

More Home Systems and More Events Mod seems to crash me at 100% :(

more events mod isnt the cause, ill look into more home systems

EDIT: direct quote from his page: "As this mod does not change any vanilla files and uses only new files it should be compatible with as good as any other mod out there."

can i see your error log? i might be able to find the issue or at least narrow the search. its in the documents/paradox interactive/stellaris folder somewhere

All my stars are yellow,with orange changing fields. But when I click on them, the image with the description below it has a different color. I can also see the coloured auras, but the stars themselves are yellow/orange

It happens for ANY star from the mod you made. Also the only mods I use are, Halo Great Journey, Stellaris Terraforming Expansion, Twinks Fallen Empire mod, and Crystallis Ship Expansion

hmm... did you load that save without MSC then load it agfain with the mod enabled? that would cause all system star classes to default to K and cause this issue. open a new map and tell me if it is happening there too

I think I must have, since there were NO stars at all from your mod. However, I was talking about the planet_class command, all the stars are the same color as the original

oh thats normal. the color of the stars plasma is determined by the systems star class.same goes for the lighting and background. this would also happen if you did it with a b class star in the system you were playing with. there are some classes that can work but this is the main reason all my binary systems have both stars being the same class.

It seems that even after uninstalling the mod/disabling the new star types and binary systems STLL spawn.
