Suggestion
Hello guys, I'm looking for all kind of suggestions!

I want to know what people think should be happening with the United States formation, should it annex the other colonies or form a faction?

What do you think should be specific focuses for each colony, as they all have their own struggle and realities which I am not that knowledgeable about!

Thanks!

Why the colonies couldn't use the US skins? It's much better than the actual skins.

I will look what I can do as for the unit models, but honestly if the colonies had stayed as such I doubt they would have had any of the same military units and models!

Agree. But, for now, as the colonies have the same models, it would preferable the US models, since the current models of the colonies are already used by another countries.

haven't played the mod yet, but shouldn't France control the entire 'Louisana Purchase"? If so, they could have ~Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Montana.

Well France sold Lousiana to Spain in real life before the independence war, and in this timeline instead of getting it all back from Spain they only negotiated to obtain the Mississipi area as it was their only place of interest even in real life. They didn't care for central North America at all and wouldn't have invested ressources in keeping it. I'm Québécois beliebe me when I say they didn't care about North America rofl

Most of the original states would have made claims on land all they way to Mexican Territory sot the stated NY, PA VA NC and GA would be much bigger. MA should have MAINE.

Have you considered having regional traits?

I.E. Georgia was a prision colony, so it should get events that involves putting prisoners to work in either the army or the feilds.

New York was (and is) the hub of immigration to America, so it should get events to immigrants.

Pennslyvania is considered to be the birthplace of the revolution, so it should get more liberty inspired ideas.

North Carolina being the tar heel state gets troop buffs.

So on and so on...

Small things to make each state unique to play as.

You could also have some native nations.

Have events to either apease the world powers or kick them off your land once and for all.

I kinda wanna see a scenario as if the revolutionary war happened in 1936, where the colonies unite and declare war on the uk, who has small holdings and loyalists in the colonies. Then, either through a timed event, or very long national focus, the colonies will have to hold out for a few years before gaining complete control over the colonies, pushing out the uk and gaining all british-american land. Then the colonies continue to grow as they did, with focuses like the alaskan and louisiana purchases, and other small wars, where if you conquer the land required, you get an event of a focus option to end the war and gain the territory. Just venting a few ideas and trying to help out!

There was an economic feud. Northern Industrial States wanted tarfiis. Southern States which traded produce for manufactured goods wanted a low tarriff.

Religious Puritan New England vs Anglican/Baptist South

Slavery of course.

Relations with British Canada and Spanish Mexico/Florida

France/England conflicts on western borders

Maine was part of Massachusetts it should not be blue. It became a separate state in 1822? Missouri Compromise

Add a option in either the British Focus Tree or for a loyal american colony to from the Dominion Of America, and fight a civil war against the USA if a colony leaves the commenwealth to form it.
