Two choices would be:
- Provide both a larger mod and the single issues ones to start with and see what is popular.
- Provide the larger mod and see if theres a demand from the comments section for single issue alternatives.
Neither approach is wrong, at the end of the day you are providing a fantastic (free) mod so go with whatever feels right and motivates you to carry on.
Thank you for your reply.
I already know what I want to do; I'd rather just have one large package that does everything than many smaller ones. Mainly because I'm not happy with the current state of all large mods out there and as a result don't use any of them. So compatibility issues are non-existing for me.
And since this whole thing was a result of me personally wanting to do something about the shortcomings of the game, rather than complain about it in the forums, it was always about what I wanted.
But now that some 7.5k people are using this thing, I thought I'd get their input as well. I'm already inclined to to just release it as an update (even in the future when it gets too large to not have any compatibility issues) and some of the larger mods have integrated my mod into theirs anyway.
Perhaps that's the best route. Just make it larger without any mind given to compatibility and instead work with other modders to integrate it into theirs.
Again, thanks for the reply.
Cheers.
