Hello ladies and gents,

As you may have seen my post recently, I'm going to roll out a new version of the Realistic Air Mod soon.

I know many of you use the mod alongside other mods, even with some large total conversion mods and that is indeed how I want the mod to work; as unintrusive as possible so that you (and I) can enjoy this goodness with as many cool mods as possible.

However, the inclusion of a new tech tree along with country specific types and graphics will mean that the mod will become easier to conflict with some, if not most total conversion mods out there.

That's where I need your input; would you rather have this mod in one single package that encompasses all current and future updates to air warfare & air tech that I will put out or would you prefer it came out separately, in small but numerous packages.

Personally I'm leaning strongly towards a single mod package, since I prefer larger, more comprehensive mods to smaller, 'single-issue' ones. But since I'm not the only one using this mod I thought I'd hear what you have to say as well.

Let me know in the comments.
Thanks as always.

I can't offer the greatest feedback as Im very, very new to the game, but I do use the workshop a lot for other games so wil base my feedback from that.

Two choices would be:

- Provide both a larger mod and the single issues ones to start with and see what is popular.

- Provide the larger mod and see if theres a demand from the comments section for single issue alternatives.

Neither approach is wrong, at the end of the day you are providing a fantastic (free) mod so go with whatever feels right and motivates you to carry on.

Thank you for your reply.

I already know what I want to do; I'd rather just have one large package that does everything than many smaller ones. Mainly because I'm not happy with the current state of all large mods out there and as a result don't use any of them. So compatibility issues are non-existing for me.
And since this whole thing was a result of me personally wanting to do something about the shortcomings of the game, rather than complain about it in the forums, it was always about what I wanted.

But now that some 7.5k people are using this thing, I thought I'd get their input as well. I'm already inclined to to just release it as an update (even in the future when it gets too large to not have any compatibility issues) and some of the larger mods have integrated my mod into theirs anyway.

Perhaps that's the best route. Just make it larger without any mind given to compatibility and instead work with other modders to integrate it into theirs.

Again, thanks for the reply.
Cheers.
