I suggest that you make less bloody air losses, because now we can loose all of our fighters in four mounths of war. sorry for my english, great mod !

Do you mean as a result of this mod?
I was under the impression that with patch 1.3.1 the air losses were actually too low.

I think you should add an addition to strategic and tactical bombers you can choose what you want to bomb. For example, you could choose if you wanted to target infastructure, air bases, naval bases, factories, with varying different degrees of success. I mean, maybe you don't want low supply all the time? Maybe you just want to kill some industry? Maybe even going as far as to add in an effect that makes radar and troops on the ground help with bombing runs. Just a suggestion though, not quite sure this is do able, I'de assume it would require quite a bit of scripting!

the bomber losses are very low, but i find the fighter losses still high ...
Maybe you can make too the anti-air defense more powerful to destroy more bombers ?

Thanks for the suggestion, you're not the first person to have brought air losses to my attention.
Low air losses is an issue that is known to the developers and they will fix it with the next patch. So I'm not going to intervene on that front.

Besides that, as a general rule, I want to keep this mod as unintrusive as possible to minimize conflicts with other mods so that everyone can enjoy it with their favourite mods. For this reason I'm usually unwilling to change other aspects of the game unless it is deemed crucial and/or will improve the gameplay in a noticeable fashion.

I will look into it if the next offical patch fails to address the issue. So thanks for bringing it up and keep good suggestions coming!

Hey,is it possible to make an airbase attack function? To damage enemy airbases before there planes can take off?Or is that to much?

The trouble is, as far as I know, mission definitions are off-limits for modders. So you cannot change what mission does what or even what type of aircraft does what. Because of that adding new missions and/or changing their definition is not possible. At least at the moment.

I'll look into it though, see if it's possible to somehow do a workaround.

I've been waiting for this for ages! Might I also suggest that you add an 'airbase strike' mission to this mod? It's one component that is very conspicuously missing from air warfare; it was the entire basis of the Battle of Britain, was a crucial determinant in the effectiveness of Operation Barbarossa (as so many aircraft were lost in the initial attacks on Soviet airfields). Without it, defenders (e.g. Britain) can simply conserve their air strength until they decide to fight, which is absolutely unrealistic and unbalanced.

Glad to be of service.

Regarding airbase attack; I'd direct your attention to the above post.

I'm looking into it though.
What about adding more types of transports? In vanilla, there's only one kind, not even a jet variant...

Well, my idea was kinda like the one from Hearts of Iron 3 and 2, the Airbase attack function, but with some tweaks for the new Air system.

And true Memes, whenever I greenlight Operation Barbarossa, the Soviets have like twice the amount of planes, and I cannot kill them in a suprise attack on airbases like in 1941.

Great looking mod. I have been thinking for the longest time, how odd it is that you can't bomb the enemy's fortifications. coastal and land forts were bombed massively during WWII after all
Nobody100 31 Dec, 2016 @ 6:41am
Are CV variants for Jetfighter I&II planned or maybe a conversion of this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=823161119
: could be possible.

Strategic bombing mission will do that, alas, you cannot choose what you want bombed.

Or eventually that mod would be a good addition?: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=823161119

You know I actually hadn't thought of that?
Sure, it's a good idea.
