Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition

Epic Encounters
What's the best way to verify that this mod was installed properly?
I'm on a Mac, and I was wondering if there's a skill or talent, or whatever is unique to this mod, that I can check after the mod installation to make sure the new details are there?

Actually, you should have a "crystal" in your inventory at the start of the game, reading it will let you know if the mod was correctly installed or not. Otherwise, you can check to see if Abilities like Man-At-Arms and Expert Marksman are instead called Soldier and Ranger.
Perfect. I will check it out. Thanks!
It says EPIC ENCOUNTERS: Thanks for playing! Thank you very much

If you right click on it and select "read," there should be a message confirming that the installation is correct.
:( it looks like it says I am missing the text files. I am on a mac, and I tried to follow the direction. I copied the "Data" folder****, into my Divnity folder, where next to that Data folder that I just copied, there is a "LevelCache", "Mods", "Player Profile" next to it.

Am I missing something? Reboot?

**** this file is from the 2nd download, where it states to download this, if I got the mod from Steam.

The folder you copied to is not the installation directory, that's just where your settings and saves are. You need to find where the game files are--there will be a Data folder in the correct one already. Since you're using Steam, it's going to be wherever Steam installs games to. Sadly I don't have any experience with Macs, so I don't know exactly what the folder structure might look like.

Thank you Ameranth! That helped me out, and I was able to find it.

For the record, the Steam client on Mac, can get you to the location of the installed game, when you go into "Properties" for that game. Afterwards, you'll see the icon for the game, but you'll have to go to "Show Contents", and there is where I spotted the data folder.

Also, don't do folder copy, as it "replaces" the folder, instead of what Windows does, and replaces with existing files, and creates new ones on the ones where files don't exist yet.
vtal, can I ask you where specifically in the mac files you ended up dropping the files from the Steam Supplemental download? I am in the correct place with the Data folder, but can't seem to figure out where exactly to drop the Data folder from the download to see the correct text in game. The crystal continues to say I don't have the correct text files.

Thank you in advance.

Hello; merge the data folder from the download with the one in your divinity directory
