From what i recall the dragon does 1 breath of each element per turn. My madora has 85% resistance to fire, water, earth, air, and tenebrium without the elemental tortiose buff or resist all potion. I still use both to mitigate the astrologer's gaze debuff but thats only on my tank.
My squishier DPS die in 1-2 breaths, 1 if its frost because it double hits? So the dragon wipes out half my party in one turn.
In the first phase the right group has a "Void Wsiper". It would put Oath on the Boss if i did not kill it within the first party turn. That led to madora getting owned by breath 4, maybe 5 if i was lucky. Dragon can also enrage itself, for 50% more damage. 91% chance to resist weak or blind, makes it really difficult to counter either two of these effects.
Dragon can also cast lower resiatances, dude gots some great synergy lol
The dragon is basically entirely scripted and acts in a number of phases, so the best advice I can give you is to watch carefully what causes the dragon's behavioral changes and try to preempt the shifts with heavy defensive buffs. As you will note from your tank--having max or even over max resists is a very big deal. If you are well-stocked with potions and other consumables, you may be able to get your squishes to survive the breath attacks. (A certain species of potion sold in Homestead comes to mind as an emergency strategy.) As for the adds, obviously CC is a big deal, since I doubt that you will be able to blitz them down before they cause a problem (Oath casts are not OK!)
Your party is very differently composed than those that I tested with in the past. I honestly never played much with Glass Cannon because I was always worried about longevity. I also see that you run less of a control strategy than I was used to testing with (my last test had 2 high witchcraft characters and an LW Alchemist as dps, so I know that it is possible to apply debuffs to the dragon, it just takes some serious resist-stripping.) Alternately, you probably have a lot more raw damage potential than I did, so I think the big thing here is to shuffle through your gear in an effort to get just enough damage mitigation to survive a relocation, once you have that, I am reasonably sure that you will beat the dragon.
Best of luck!
Playing with end game content right now. quick side question if you dont mind. Right before the dragon fight, i hearth'd out. Is there a way to get fast travel back?
but i never could make 6 man work
also my astrate got wiped out with a single atack from the dragon. so i never could finish the fight.
no matter if i put my chars so that he should atack my chars.. he never did .. also icewall did not work.. putting chests infront of astrate and around her with icewall.. still if the dragon does a icebreath she instantly death.
