Endless Barrels
This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important

How my endless barrel mod differs from the infinite barrel mod.
Well, some may come here wondering how my mod differs from Monochrome's or why I made it when his already existed.

Well, short version on why:
He claimed it wouldn't work the way I said it would if done this way, so I did the mod to prove him wrong.

I also didn't want 30 barrels spamming my in game 3D printing or spawn menu in scenario editor even if they were in their own category. It was unnecessary if a single barrel can handle it.

--------------
Mod Differences;

My version:
1) Supports any material (even modded) without updates. (anything that fits in a barrel)
2) Once a resource is added to it, it never runs out, and never fills up.
3) Can be emptied and reset to a new material.
4) Must be spawned in or created in a creative printer.
5) Will likely continue to work, forever, without needing to be updated.
6) One barrel to rule them all.
7) Pretty infinity symbol on the display.
8) Makes faces at you when empty.

Monochrome's version:
1) Supports only resources that exist within his mod prior to an update.
-- This means, if a new material is added by a modder, or by the devs, his mod must update before this new material is enabled.
2) Spams up your game's printer menu with one barrel per resource.
-- Even if you do a separate category, this is till a menu full of 20-30 barrels each with a different resource in it.
3) Last I checked, can be printed by any printer. Even survival mode.
4) Last I tried, his mod starts maxed, so his barrels can't have resources added to them to function as a release valve of sorts.
5) Can not be emptied and reused.

Can you think of an advantage his has over mine? Go ahead and post in the comments!

--------------

I created this as a developer tool. But if you wish to use it in a scenario someone else made, you can run the game in dev mode and spawn it in using that method.

If you wish to create a creative scenario, this will appear in the creative printer list, and it will be spawn-able via the item placement UI.

It is your choice if you wish to use this as a cheating tool, but I will not update the mod to enable it as a cheating tool. You will need to use dev mode to cheat.
