Troubleshooting issues or problems
Please let me know here if you are having any issues with the mod. I'll try to help troubleshoot as availability permits. Any of the following things would be helpful in determining what the issue might be. Thanks for your help getting this working!

  • The version of the mod your TF game shows when adding the mod (or on a savegame load screen)
  • The airport stations (small, medium, large) and which terminals are experiencing issues
  • Screenshots showing the station catchment area (the white/gray overlays on roads that show the station reach)
  • Screenshots showing the station catchment area for nearby transit stops like train stations, bus stops, tram stops, etc. - anything that provides transportation to/from the airport.

With the airports you can't upgrade the amount of terminals

You may have to demolish road connections to make an upgrade as mentioned in the mod description. That's because adding more terminals requires more base-roads *within* the airport station. So effectively, adding terminals makes the airport bigger. Try creating a save point, demolishing nearby connections, and then performing the upgrade. If you're having some other issue like not seeing the upgrade option at all, please let me know.

Terminal not connected
This issue was raised in early June (see earlier comments on main page) and has come up a couple times since then when using the mod with certain other mods. A very few of the mods out there change the *geometry* (not just the textures/appearance) of stock game assets -in this case the small streets- which breaks terminal connections because it literally moves the location of the entry point for some terminals. Instead of adding an additional street style (which would have no effect on other mods), the default street shape within the game gets changed by another mod and I would expect that creates issues with a number of mods that rely on the stock assets.

In principle, I don't want to set a precedent of updating my mod just to work with another one which changed the stock game rather than adding new assets alongside the old ones. However, that’s not to say that I won’t help resolve this issue: only that I plan on being careful and thoughtful about the best course of action in doing so. I’m toying around with a few minor updates to this mod that I think people will enjoy. As I look at those more closely, I’ll also keep an eye out for a general method of ensuring compatibility with other mods that change vanilla-game geometry and see what I can find. If there’s a good way to address this other than creating one-off exceptions for various mods, I’ll post that solution. Otherwise, I don’t plan on updating this every time another mod has a conflict. I made sure to *NOT* replace the vanilla airports for precisely this reason: it creates issues with other content that aims to change the same assets.

If mod compatibility is urgent, I recommend you reach out to the author who updated the small streets and/or just make a choice as to which mod you prefer most. (I promise you won’t hurt my feelings.) Otherwise, stay tuned for updates and thanks for your interest in the mod! (Your feedback is really helpful BTW -thanks!)
