Some items still have some old description
Some items like athame and betrayal (some others too, but i don't remember them) have the old afterbirth description. For example, athame says that the black ring will spawn around the player but this effect was changed in repentance.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the mod but nothing changed. The Mod Config Menu says that the mod is updated to version 4.52.

What can I do to resolve this issue? Thank you.

Huh, the only thing I can think of that would cause this (aside from your description files being outdated somehow, but 4.52 is the proper version number) is that another one of your mods is erroneously modifying the "REPENTANCE" constant that mods use to determine what game version is running. Could you please try typing
lua print(REPENTANCE)
in the debug console? It should print "true".

It does print true. Funny thing is that this error applies only to some items, not everyone. I'll try disabling my mods one at time and see if anything changes.

Looks like the solution was simpler than I expected.
I decided to do what I always do when stressed out: reset everything to default.
Magic magic, the descriptions updated.

I'm sorry to have bothered you for just a simple and stupid bug. Now back to customize all settings back :D

Update: the description errors came back. Nothing changed from the other day, I just played.
