List of Avenger Events
Normal Events

  • Comet Sighted (can only be done once) - choices can spawn a UFO, spawn a retaliation mission, or give a 10% bonus on all currently available research (this will prevent you from intel rushing them later on)

  • Proving Experiments (requires Proving Grounds) - if allowed to go through, a 50/50 chance of getting a free experimental item or a random soldier losing half their HP trying to make one

  • Experimental Serum (requires Laboratory) - if allowed to go through, 50/50 chance of a random soldier getting a free level up or them getting the shaken status

  • Resistance Concert (requires a Resistance Comms) - if allowed to go through, 50/50 chance of gaining 40 intel, or losing 40 intel.

  • About Those ADVENT Burgers (can only be done once) - choices can cause a soldier to get wounded or gain a free promotion, cause a soldier to gain a minor staff buff or a mild wound, or nothing.

  • Signals Decryption (requires Shadow Chamber, can only be done once) - choices can open a nearby region, spawn a Rescue VIP mission, or lower the doom meter by 1

  • Turret Havoc (requires Defense Matrix) - choices can cause a soldier to get wounded or gain Lightning Reflexes, get a free crew level or cost you 100 supplies, or cost you 50 supplies.

  • Contagion Mystery (can only be done once) - choices can have a scientist gain a crew level or a de-level, cause a region to gain income or lose it, or nothing.

  • Alien Interrogation - choices can have a scientist gain a crew level, get 100 supplies, +5 intel, or nothing.

  • Distress Signal - choices can launch a max difficulty retaliation mission, gain regional income, cause injuries, or do nothing.

  • Captured Chryssalid (can only be done once) - choices can give you a free chryssalid corpse, a scientist crew level, a guerilla ops mission, or nohing.

  • The Doorn Dilemma (can only be done once) - choices can give you +5 elerium dust, a free rookie, a free soldier promotion, or a soldier injury.

  • The Refinery - choices can give you 10 alloys, 20 alloys, 40 alloys, soldier injury, or nothing.

  • The Exalted Ones (can only be done once) - choices can give you 75 supplies, + 10 alloys and +10 elerium dust, multiple soldier promotions, multiple soldier injuries, or losing regional income.

  • The Only Thing We Have To Fear... - random soldier gets a stat debuff.

Player-Caused Events
These don't activate like normal events, they instead require a player to do certain actions to activate them.
  • Building a Resistance (may activate when a new region is contacted) - choices can give you 50 supplies and an engineer level up, a scientist level up and 10 intel, a soldier stat buff, or a regional income decrease.

  • Voice of the Resistance (may activate when a new radio relay is built) - choices can give you 50 supplies and a soldier promotion, an engineer level up and a regional income increase, a scientist level up and 10 intel, a soldier injury, or nothing.

  • Unforeseen Consequences (will activate once either the Forge or Psi Gate mission has been done) - choices can reduce your scan site speed for a month, multiple soldier debuffs, a UFO shootdown of the Avenger, or nothing.
