This is due to how the model is made.
Mesa got a truckload of folds/geo in the model thats very very specific. You simply can't slap armor bits on her and make it look good, it will look like pieces of armor slapped on a pair of trousers..
If you look at the lower leg for example theres actuall geo folds there, not normal detials but the model itself. That kinda stuff kinda happens all over mesa.
I personally don't think its unfinished. its different. Where effort went into making armor bits on other graxx skins the effort here went into making clothing bits.
Edit;
I dont think your feedback is wrong, I just dont necesarily agree with it. If DE agrees with your obviously I would need to rethink/rejigg.
Scapping will never happen, if it gets rejected ill try to find out why and adress, if the feedback is scrapping the body ill just not bother with it;)
I'm not above reworking parts/add detail of the body if thats needed. But it will never be a metal plated piece of work. Thats just not what im going for here.
I agree that a bunch of metal parts is not the direction for this one. I did like the addition of the texture on the forearm and the side packs, probably one of my favorite textures but it looks awkward with the amount added. Removing or adding more is where I think this should be taken.
yeah thats def an alternative if needed, I was looking at adding that to the poncho part at some point but decided against it casue it felt wrong.
(and given the option to do so)
What's hard is to make mesa not look like mesa. Volt/excal etc have very bland models, they are empty canvases where you can do a lot. Mesa not so much, so when people say "this doesnt look like X" thats not because I "forgott" about the 10+ other graxx skins I've done. It's simply because dressing a mesh like mesa in plates would look silly.
this is just, gold, probably the best skin I ever saw in Tennogen
appreciate it, I am sure there's work to be done, I am happy with the choices i've made regarding material and direction, but ill see if theres something I can do to fix some of the critissm
