Dragontail
[possible bug] Dragon instantly tamed after tranqed
Yeah title says it all. I was chasing down and tranqing a fire dragon and once it was down I noticed it was playing the eating animation when taming happens I didn't even have time to grab my kibble from my other dragon and open the downed dragons inventory, thing instantly turned into a tamed dragon. I do not know what's up with that but seems to me to be a bug.

that happened before when it would eat the cooked meat "engram" or whatever, but I thought I fixed it? D:

lol apparently not either way I got a free 270 lvl dragon, which = to around 350 lvl after taming bonuses

appears all dragons are affected by this. I just tamed 3 whelps they at least ate a prime meat each but their hunger meters are like half full, at least that's what I saw I'll have to down another to confirm this.

Edit:

Doh I know the reason, I upped the wild dino stats gain in the game.ini files and forgot to do a destroywilddino pass to adjust the dinos. I was wrong LOL!

so... it's not the mod? :o

I'll have to test it first but I'm going to go on the assumption that it isn't the mod. We'll see I'm trying to find a decent whelp to get before I make a final judgement.

Okay, tested it it's a bug, insta tamed a 270 whelp and it only used 1 prime meat O_o yeah so it wasn't me messing with stats via game.ini, it's a bug with the mod @Crazienous.

Edit: just to be sure I tested on a vanilla dino to see if they would insta tame, no such luck.

hmm, what's your taming multiplier at?
requiemfang 8 Mar, 2017 @ 4:09pm
10x since I'm in single player. Though it shouldn't take 1 prime meat to tame a lvl 270 whelp or fire dragon on one go unless I'm wrong of course, at least with the whelp.

Whelpling has been taking 2 primes to tame on 5x, which I find alright concidering, but fire dragons seem to be a bit bugged...

Hmm then I guess 1 prime meat is accurate with whelpings with 10x taming speed. I haven't tested taming other dragons currently besides whelpings and the one fire dragon I got. I had a previous one from before but the new one completely brings the scale up in level and when I saw it I had to have it lol. needed the whelpings in order to start an egg farm to start making kibble. Fire Dragons of course I got because it's a walking forge and meat cooker.

can fire dragons make kibble?
requiemfang 9 Mar, 2017 @ 12:02pm
I don't think so, honestly I don't think that would be a good thing to add to the fire dragon. It's pretty versitile as a mobile cooker/smelter but having it also being able to make kibble is a bit overpowering.
