Can;t tame anything past a whelp
So we have been having a huge issue on a server I play on. It's a 9x tame server but thus far we have only been able to tame the little whelps. Anything more and they just don't tame. We have the whelp kibble and took down a lightning. We sat there keeping it under for a good hour and it never ate a single one.

Using thing';s like prime meat also seem to not work, mainly as the meat don't gain an extra 'in dino inv' time boost. So it spoils in a few secs.

I mean there's a stunning yet low lv (40 something) toxic dragon that I wanted so badly. Knocking it out is easy, but it just can't be tamed. We don't yet have the kibble for it but a flowchart says it eats prime, but it just spoils so damn fast as it gets no in inv time boost.

This issue is really bumming some of us out.. Not only do they wake up stupid fast needing more tranq's than resonable, but there not taming at all. We even admin spawed in all the kibble and stuffed them all into every dragon and nada. No taming.

I even did a test on single player and still the same... so what gives?

my SP test using the traq mods we have on the server to test what it takes for a knock out... but thats the easy part.. the taming.. just nope.

Toxic dragons naturally spoil everything, their new food items do not include raw meat or prime. on the other hand, toxics have had issues with their food not draining while KO'd. this is the first I've heard of everything else not taming either, so I suggest making sure you guys have non-corrupt files and the latest to boot. other than that, I can't really say what'd cause it.

Yeah we tried doing a full reinstall a few times to make sure, and nothing at all will tame past a whelp outside water dragons. (that are silly as ♥♥♥♥ btw we love em, be nice if you added the ability to skim the water surface like a pela can, give it a 3 seater saddle and it be a fun way to get around by sea!)

So what meats do they eat then? I saw a google doc's sheet that listed what all they eat besides their kibbles.. but you're saying that's changed.. so how do we tame em with out kibble?

Also can you share what wall types they can break? we are wondering if our normal taming pen would work on em of it theyd break out right off.

I'd like to also say a word if i may, Crazienous, that me and my buddy have also had the Toxic Dragon issue with their food not lowering while KOed. We havn't tried tameing anything else besides whelps (which is working). Is this glich only Toxic Dragon related? Also i note that in the google doc you mention an item called Burnt Meat. Which is said to be used for Toxic dragons. Is this the new food item Toxics eat?

Full disclosure: Me and my freind are using the Extinction Core mod so i understand if that could be the issue. Please let me know of any incompatibilities with EC and your mod.

PS: We also tried using stimulent to lower its hunger but it did not budge.
PPS: I've chosen to reply to Iron Block Games' Thread due to the simularity in our issue. I hope we both figure out our tameing issue and thank you Crazeinous for the awesome mod!

The google docs is up to date, whenever I change something, I promptly change it in google docs to make sure it stays up to date aswell. I've been able to tame Ices and Earths, Lightnings and Whelplings pretty well on my own server, the only thing that we haven't been able to are Toxics, which would correlate to what others have experienced, however having none but whelplings be tameable has not occured for me, so it's very strange for it to happen to every dragon without some sort of corruption or something blocking it.

I will have to see what is causing this, but having exhausted the basics and having the kit tell me everything is fine, it's going to take a while to find the cause to the taming issue.

Burnt Meat is the new item mentioned, which acts as Prime meat for them.

I don't know what wall types they can break however, I haven't really prioritized that concidering.

Thank you for your time! Love the mod either way so no worries mate. It was a blast building a stageing platform to chain bola the beast down. Good time either way :D! I look forward to seeing where you take this mod in the future. I would like to thank Iron Block Games for creating the thread and i apologize if i was butting in. Thank you all for your time!

Hey I don't mind Top Cat, you stayed on the topic matter at hand so it's good. If you had asked something fully unrelated then I'd have to go 'Uhhhhh..." :P

But yeah where is the google docs for this? The one I'm looking at might be one someone duped thats been passed around, as it still lists them as eating prime meat, something they apparently don't touch with a 100 foot pole. This may be why tameing isn't working on any of them as we don't know what they use.

...also can you make their eggs pickupable by the egg and poop collector? Because atm they don't and the eggs are so small they often clipp through the ground it seems... and trust me one of our tribe mates loves small dinos and tames any pretty ones he comes across and breeding hoping for a pure white and pure black.

AA picks them up from what I can tell and the google docs link in the description of the mod is the only google docs there is as far as I can tell.
