Dragon Taming
Allright, before you ask yes i have checked the google doc but its not entirely clear on the taming foods. Were getting close to the point where we can tame the dragons, but the document nedlects to mention which foods can be used for taming beyond kibble for the larger dinos. Do they only tame with kibble then eat the other foods after tame? Or can i tame them with any of the listed foods?

Asking so i can figure out if i need to go killing dragons for souls or if i can tame some low level lightnings, breed and use the eggs to make the forge so i can then get kibble. I dont want to knock a dragon out and learn the hard way i cant yet tame it.

Another note, i feel the pymies are overly aggressive. They pick fights with everything, aggro on you from quite a ways away, and do a ton of danage for their small size.

And the lightning dragon... I saw a level 10 wreck two high level rex's (280 and 270) Several argies, an allo pack (didnt see their levels because they died almost instantly), some kentros, like 8 dimoprhadons and what looked like some carnos. All at once. Barely took any damage. That breath does an insane amount of damage and has a huge range. Nothing stands a chance, im tempted to pit one against a giga and see how it does.

Have you considered consumables to temperarily negate the breath effects from the dragons? At least the torpor and stun and fire debuffs. Possibly made from the respective pygies eggs or the souls. To make taming easier for solo or small tribes. Because with the breaths range attacks and how quickly you get knocked out or stunned it would be insanely difficult if you cant snipe from a distance and knock it out in one or two shots. Esecially since it still hits you even off the back of your dino. Found this out in single player when i was checking everything out before installing. Spawned in a tamed eath dragon, was fighting a toxic. Got maybe one hit in before it knocked me out and slowly ate me alive.

"* Raw Meat/Fish does not add to taming on Dragons, it will only drop effectiveness as it is only set as Food." right at the bottom of the page...

Since I see you have 270 and 280 wild rexes, I doubt you're playing on default settings, which makes me think you probably also have your wild dino stats raised as well?

On the topic of taming one, I'd say get a high grade longneck or whatever tranq gun mod you may or may not be using.
