A few suggestions for designer names
Argyll Motors - motorisation designer
Carron Iron Works - artillery designer
Dickson & MacNaughton - infantry equipment designer (actually a gunsmith )

Falkirk Iron Works - armour designer
St, Rollox Locomotive Works - armour designer
Cowlairs Railway Works - armour designer

Ferguson Shipbuilders - naval designer
Ailsa Shipbuilding Company - naval designer
Caledon Shipbuilding & Engineering Company - naval designer

Scottish Aviation Limited - aircraft designer

Those are all real companies that existed at the time.

Barnwell Brothers - aircraft designer

The Barnwell brothers , Harold and Frank, were considered "Scotland's answer to the Wright Brothers", and made the first powered flight in Scotland in 1909. Historically, they designed aircraft for other companies, but there's no reason why they wouldn't be available in an alt-history mod such as this, is there ?

I try to keep is as historical as possible for my mod like existing army- as well as navy-units et cetera. Hence, it's a really great help to have such inspiration for lokal Scots manufactures, craftsmans and others.
