Post WOTC bug - LW2 crashes on return flight to avenger.
Hi all,

posted this in bug report thread over two weeks ago but haven't had any feedback. Can anyone give me a hand here?

-> Game crashes during loading screen upon returning from a mission. New issue that popped up mid-game. No mods were added except voice packs and Section 9 armor mod (but none of the soldiers used during mission were using assets from that mod).

Have no idea what is causing it but since LW2 is the heaviest mod I have, I'm assuming that something is conflicting with that.

I use alot of armour mods but have not heard of 'Section 9'. You get that from the Workshop or a seperate site? Does it even say it's made for LW2? I take it you've done all the obvious things like 'Verifying Data Cache' etc

Yeah I have. It claims to be LW2 compatible but I've tried without them as well and it doesn't help. Already verified data cache, tried multiple past saves, checked for obvious mod conflicts using alt launcher, etc...

hi,

I'd got the same problem : crash at the end of the first mission durind loading screen in the avenger, even after full reinstall without wotc + cleaning data .....
The probleme was solved by an alternative laucher : "https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/64mucq/alternative_mod_launcher_now_a_community_project/"

Now i don,t have any pb with 70+ mods.

Tried that, but no conflict came up so I didn't bother try launching it. Did you just run the game through that or is there another step to it?
