LW2 on pre-wotc Xcom2 or no go on any
I have the Xcom2 game with its dlc however I have not bought WotC. Right now I don't see that purchase happening anytime soon. I still want to continue to play LW2 and was in the process of installing it again after I did a fresh install of Xcom 2. I am aware that the owners of this mod has stated that at this time there is no update and unknown whether they will make LW2 compat with WotC.

My question is, if I don't have installed, the WotC expansion/dlc whatever you want to call it, with LW2 still work normally or will I have to somehow back patch the game (revert to older version of Xcom2 - if you can even do that on Steam) to play LW2 as if the WotC never happened/never released.

I have a great setup ready and now I am left with not knowing if the version of Xcom 2 now on Steam is still going to cause LW2 not to work like it use to.

Get the 'alternative game launcher'. When that boots up you can choose normal (modded LW2) to start or when you get it..WoTC. WoTC game length is around 10% of LW2. Very different experiences. Once you have plyaed and won LW2, playing WoTC on hardest lvl is easy.

Will that alternative game launcher also allow any other mods added with Lw2 work as well?
