Not doing all Guerrilla Target missions: Whats the downside?
I've done 10 missions total spread out across three squads, and currently, if I go to the Globe, there are a grand spanking total of 9 MISSIONS, with 3 currently under infiltration. I've ignored atleast 5 missions up to this point due to lacking man power (and time), I'm in the third month and no Dark Events are happening, so what's the downside?

Thanks.

I recommend building up to 5 squads. The order of things is that you have to win a 'Find a Lead' (FAL) mission that leads to 'Rescue VIP', then to 'Capture VIP' which leads to the 'Hack Tower' mission. Only when all 4 are done in the same region do you get the HQ Assault chance to Liberate a region. So if you miss one in the chain you have to restart at F.A.L mission again.

Ah gotcha, gotcha. Looks like its back to square one for me then, lol.

Thanks for the response.

What happens if you interrupt the order of the missions by doing something else, i.e. I just did a VIP rescue mission, followed by a warehouse raid (smash and grab)?

From what I've seen, as long as you follow the order of the four mission of the liberation line, (FAL, Rescue, Capture, and culminating in securing the Tower), doing Smash and Grab missions, along with Supply Raids and ADVENT Troop ambushes, will not reset the liberation process.
