do the large ship blocks still function as normal?
btw, I sugest you publish a collection of all blocks, but supergrid versions so people dont have to create their own.

Glad you're in the same boat as me and my team. My Strategists have also come up with a plan "Expect more" - from Tempest 3 Post

And to answer your original question, yes they do work
YES! Thank you, this is going to be a fun week...
wait, so who is the rest of the team?

No Comment... Devs are always watching
oh yeah...
when are they being released?
and which ones come first? (think doors, control seats, and weapons are high on everybodys list)
Will this Vessel still work if made in survival?

So I've played with this technique myself a little - I didn't get quite the same results as other people, but in my testing doors will not be operable since the point of contact is dead center in the middle of the doorway, rendering it useless. I've also ran into issues using conveyors on "supergrid" items.

Sadly it will not, Depending on how much publicity this gets i will make a survival capable version... This is the Concept (kinda like the BMW 100 Years concept)

There is a variable that can be tweaked concerning conveyors, it makes everything "Large" grid connection. If you want i can give you a crash course on how to tweak it my friend :D
so are we sticking with the name supergrid? also, cant the same process be done in reverse to create a supergrid version of a small grid merge block that exists on Large grid without the use of multigrids (roters, pistons, etc.) so small ships can merge directly to a Large ships?

I guess we can stick with Supergrid, the term we used was Grid merge since the collision box is literally shrunk, so the model just clips into the blocks xD

And sadly the model doesn not transfer to large (it does just the model doesnt look right... AT all).
