I take it this is how the ship is made indistructable. The blocks collision mesh is very large and exists on the outside of ship. for a block to take damage, both the collision mesh and the hitbox has to interact with another. I have seen how the supergrid hitboxes exist, and they only exist on a small scale on the inside of the ship. While the hitbox recieves damage incoming, the collision mesh deals damage outgoing. While the collision mesh is shredding through a ship, the hitbox inside remains untouched meaning the block never breaks. And that my dear friends, is how we NOW HAVE SHEILDS IN THE GAME!

this could be used to make respawn ship mods where they can be more compact, have more systems available to them, help protect fresh starts in multiplayer worlds to give them a chance, and planet landings would be less dangerous for first timers......the only one requirement would have to be some way of keeping its accel. and top speed low enough to insure that they aren't used as battering rams

NAH NAH NAW, you goti all wrong guys.... This was really created when the following happned, a certain someone will remember this... Essentially it was a normal day in M4's world then all of a sudden I find something quite terrfying, a beast of a creation. There were several small grinding ships attached to the monolith using landing gear and was spinning like hell. Then when I tried to free the monolith all clang broke loose, that was when time and space fractured. Within this short time period A.R.T. managed to use the distorted space time to make these all powerful creations, but on the other hand clang was more powerful in this distorted space time and that was when...

The rotor madness was created, a device like no other. It seemed to have a consious of it's own and best of all it was somehow stable on MP while still using like 20 rotors all running and spinning and causing wierdness. We thought it would be a good idea to bring this bugger on the planet and to our suprise, he managed to deny the very force of gravity. He then led us to this mysterious place where we learned some other secret "ARTS" (Pun 100% intended, deal with it) and let the little rotor thing free, intil he took revenge over the world cause the distorted time space was dying and killed everything, the END!

So you have captured clang and stolen his power? I am referring to this line of bp code.
<DestructibleBlocks>false</DestructibleBlocks>
it is hidden inside the bp file, only it usually says "true"

no saying it is impossible, but do your weapons work in a world save with destructable blocks disabled.

a bp with this in it infects the world it is spawned in with indestructible blocks when edited in game, but if un touched, only it acts as if destructible blocks was disabled in the game settings
a ship with good thrust can fly straight through other ships like a knife of doom.

and an even more interesting glitch is when a rotor sub grid has it, all grids with rotors in the world are made indestructible when the rotor sub grid is edited in world.

now im wondering if there is a field for payload strength in the bp block code for a warhead, havent checked yet.

@ljkamrath You have scartched the surface of the "tweaking" the game XD

Esseantially our weapons destroy everything in the server, the ones that would take indestructible ships out however are called: Zero Violence Weapons... The name is self explanitory!

We beleive in killing the poeple and not the valuable resources. Machine lives matter?

Semi true... The ship with the "tweaked" code does infact punch thorugh all other ship/station like objects. Infect the world? Havn't noticed.

"and an even more interesting glitch is when a rotor sub grid has it, all grids with rotors in the world are made indestructible when the rotor sub grid is edited in world." -ljkamrath

doesnt seem to work for my group, probably works on single player though!
