Please post any bugs, issues and crashes you encounter here! If your game crashed, be sure to include a copy of your starbound.log in your reply, as this log is always necessary when identifying the cause of a crash.

I think I know this one. They removed a lot of stuff having to do with "Config" in 1.3. Not sure if that helps. I hope it does!

Hmm, that's an odd bug. The error is caused by the game being unable to find 'deploymentConfig' within the player.config, which is strange, as this was added in 1.3 (it acts as the configuration for deploying mechs). My guess would be that this is either caused by you not having 1.3 installed, which I think is unlikely, or by you having another mod installed which overrides the vanilla player.config (and which hasn't been updated for 1.3 yet).

What other mods are you using? And, if you uninstall Elithian Races, are you able to deploy mechs with the vanilla races?

It seems that the Thellhunter's Knife's UI panel is cut off and the text on the bottom half is floating.

after i buy a medic and an assult if i try hiring a engi it dosent allow me to hire him (it dosent give me the prompt) than if i try buying a mechanic or another medic/assult it dosent work still

@Bionicle Boy Bimeymoomimey: I noticed a few weapons are having issues with the tooltips, which wasn't the case during the Unstable build of 1.3. I'm investigating what is causing these issues now, and will try to fix them for the next update!

@Asherslain: Are you certain that you have unlocked and installed the Sparrow upgrade for your ship? I checked the files for the Droden ship, but found no issues there: you should be able to recruit the same number of crewmembers on your Droden ship as you would on any vanilla ship.

I took a look at the Avali ship files, not seeing any issues in there either. Have you upgraded your ship to the point where it actually gets bigger? The tier 4 (Sparrow) upgrade that adds an extra room increases the maximum amount of crewmembers from 2 to 4. If you're still using the default, unupgraded ship (not counting repairs, only upgrades that increase ship size), you'll only be able to recruit two crewmembers.

It's also worth noting that if you have two crewmembers with you, you can't recruit any more crewmembers regardless of how many crewmembers you have in total. Return to the ship and tell one or both of the crewmembers to stay there, then you'll be able to recruit new crewmembers again.

im playing 1.3 and encountered 2 bugs:
1. the leatherworking station isnt affected by light
2. droden legion mechanics can't be hired (the ones at the outpost)

@lareclark: Good finds! I'm working on fixes for both of these issues now, so they should get fixed in the next update.

@the.jowetts: I'm seeing a few potential issues. Gonna list them here:
-The "No railplatform interaction" mod is causing two JSON patch errors. That mod looks to be outdated, and you should probably uninstall it or ask the author to update it.
-A mod called "The Legacy Techs" is causing another two JSON patch errors. That one also seems to be outdated, so I'd recommend uninstalling it too.
-The mod "Colony Tweaks" is causing yet another JSON patch error. Same goes for this one.
-Not sure which mod(s) this is from, but you have one or more mods that add crafting recipes for a bunch of ship doors, ship hatches, and likely a separate one that adds a Tenor Drum Kit, and Buttered Toast. These mods have faulty recipes in them: I'm not sure if they are related to your crash, but they're worth investigating.

Sadly, the log isn't very clear about exactly what caused the crash... The error here is this: "(JsonException) Cannot call get with key on Json type string, must be Object type". I've seen this happen in 1.3 with mods that add new behaviours to monsters, NPCs etc, but it could be caused by something else too. I recommend you uninstall all of the mods I listed above to eliminate a few potential suspects, then try to run the game again. If it doesn't crash, we'll know it was one (or all) of those. If it still crashes, we'll need to investigate further.

i have a biiiigg issue. everyone, i repeat EVERYONE in the outpost is gone. its like they

never exsisted, this means no mech quest, therefore, no mech. please fix this.

To both TTSkyHammer and Null / Getsumei: could you upload copies of your starbound.log files on pastebin? Those logs might be able to shed some light on what is causing the issues.

And specifically to Null / Getsumei: I've seen a lot of reports from people having this same issue, and it turns out this is - in most cases - caused by having Active Stealth Module installed. That mod makes changes to NPC behaviours, and as the NPC behaviour API saw some big changes in 1.3, that mod will now cause all NPCs to malfunction. If you have that mod installed too, uninstall it and see if that fixes your issues. If you don't have it installed, make sure to upload your starbound.log so I can try to figure out what happened!

My crew members are not working. I can't interact with them nor fire them. and it seems like crew benefits are broken.
