Sandspitters and desert wetland problem
I'm currently doing the avikan crafting techniques mission, but it seems that i just can't find any wetland sub biomes and i'm visiting tons of desert planets. I think it's a bug (or at least a problem with my game) because almost half the desert planets that i've visited have huge regions of completely empty territory (no trees, no cacti, no grass, no creatures...nothing). Any idea?

Did you start a new universe or did you install the mod on an existing one? If it was an old one, you'll have to travel far away from your old planets before new things start generating.

Also, do you have Frackin Universe, or anything else that adds new biomes or changes where they can spawn? If there are more things that can spawn, you may need to search for longer before the thing you're looking for shows up.

Apart from that, they show up randomly, so just keep searching deserts.

As for the completely empty areas, desert planets can spawn with barren biomes on them, it's probably that.
