Superb Kavanite Plates are crafted using Solarium Ore, Coal and Loose Silt, and can be crafted at the Nomada Furnace (the upgraded version of the Avikan Stone Furnace). If you play as an Avikan or Droden, you'll have all of the required recipes unlocked by default. If you play as another race, you can purchase an Avikan Crafting Guide from the Drifter's Emporium, which will automatically unlock all Avikan crafting recipes.

where is the drifters emporium

Drifter's Emporium is on Starfarer's Refuge, up in the upper levels. You need to open a hatch in the ceiling and crawl around in the pipes up there using a sphere tech.
