"Stopping the Corruption" & "The Vanguard's Vehicles"
So i had this problem when doing 2 quests from this mod with 2 friends (so we were in a group of 3). At the end of the quest items dropped: "Violated Ion Core" & "Broken Missile Core"

However only 1 "Violated Ion Core" dropped... and 2 "Broken Missile Core" dropped

All 3 of us were still able to complete those 2 quests, but it seems like obtaining those quest items opened up "Second Tiers" to each of those quests. Second Steps. But only people "actively holding" either the Violated Ion Core or Broken Missile Core actually could "do" or see the quest.

So when we tried to drop the items for each other that didn't help as it then gave the new person holding the item the second tier of the quest but then the first person lost the quest.

It seems like i cannot Repeat the first part of "Stopping the Corruption" *alone* to ensure i get the item drop... like my friends did. So, what do i do?

i checked the thread with the "spawn item" list but it does not list quest items there so i dunno how to spawn them.

Any suggestions? Maybe there was a warning not to do these quests with friends but we didn't notice one >_<

Are we just out of luck?

Is there some other way for me to aquire "Violated Ion Core" or "Broken Missile Core"? Or a way to make the original quest repeatable that i just overlooked?

The Broken Missile Pod can be purchased from the black market found in the Starfarer's Refuge - you can find it by entering the overhead sewage systems in the long, dark corridor at the top of the Refuge. It also drops from Elite Drahls found in the wild - they're rare, but they do spawn occasionally and will always drop the pod.

The Violated Ion Core can't be acquired outside of that mission for now... I'll make sure it's purchasable from the black market after completing the "Stopping the Corruption" in the next update, which should be ready in a few days! I also want to add more encounter with the Violated Elite Drahl that drops the item, but I'm not sure if those will be ready by the time the update hits.

thanks so much for responding and giving me a solution to one of the items, and well giving me a solution to the second that can be upcoming ^.^

Your mod is so fun, i really appreciated the hard work that went into it.
