Configure the Holy Hand Grenade so that the user must bake it for 3 seconds after pulling the pin. By properly doing so the weapon would be able to inflict full damage.
  • Throwing the grenade prior to 3.00 seconds or after 3.99 seconds could result in major reduction of the blast's potency (?).

But that kind of ruins the point of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. The gag is that you are so illiterate that you can't properly count to 3.

Oh.... From my perspective I always assumed that King Arthur blurted out '5' accidentially while racing back in memory about what not to do when priming the grenade. But that's just me.
