this is actually more a combination of problems; i am using two mods, yours and Capt. awesomes faster reading++. What seems to be the issue is that when using this mod, i don't appear to read any faster than vanilla. this has been happening since i got the mod ages ago and idk what the solution may be besides disabling one of the two mods. (i am using pre-vehicle build 38.30x)

Russian is broken. Encoding should be Windows-1251.
And it seems that it's google translate.

I fixed ItemName_RU.txt:

Please download the file (don't copy-paste), cos it has right encoding.
Also you may just remove Items_RU.txt, this file is useless for today.

Hmm, doesn't seem to work in build 41 (latest/stable as of Jan 2021), using English.
Does this mod not apply to existing saves, or only fresh / new games?

EDIT: And yes, I also enabled the mod. Lua restarted during the main-menu screen, but I wonder if I have to do a full restart?
