Suggestions for New Features
Give me any ideas, suggestions, or thoughts about upcoming content here. Please note that having a model already prepared greatly increases your chances of the suggestion being added. This is because one of the hardest parts of making each mod is making each 3d model. It is best if you already have the model UV or Texture mapped, as that will make it much easier for me to implement it. More information will be below.

Steps to Take Before Giving Me Your Model

If you downloaded the model you want me to use, please also give me the original creator of the content. If name is not available, use account name. Make sure to give me the website you downloaded it from so I can verify it was not stolen. Either way, after you download it, please export the model into one of the file formats below so I can use it.

3DS File - .3ds

SketchUp File - .skp (This will not be available for long as I only have a 30 day trial)

Blender File - .blend (Best format since I use Blender for modeling)

Autodesk File - .fbx

Object File .obj (Try not to use this since it is difficult to import)

Stl File .stl (Better file ending for imports)

Collada Default .dae

Stanford .ply

Some Good Websites/Sources to Get 3D Models

Good overall 3D model finding site, although the search results can be a bit misleading. Stay away from 3D models which come from sources like "SketchFab" and "Tinkercad" as these are difficult or paid downloads. Always use Thingiverse links when possible.

The best 3D Model finding site, use this first, and SketchUp Warehouse second. This website is reliable and trustworthy, with all downloads being free.


SketchUp Warehouse

A reasonably good website for 3D models, but you must have SketchUp to open the files, and only Pro can export them out of .skp, which is essential.

i'm afraid i don't have a model to contribute, but for your consideration, the Halo 5 weapons could be quite nice, especially if you could manage their attachments and scopes? especially the energy bayonet now we have that function in game.

@King43160 yes I think I can do that! I'll add that to the upcoming list! @bash1012 as you can see in the upcoming content both of those are planned for the future.

Also @King43160 I should be able to get that and the Energy sword out this week if I can figure out how to make melee weapons xD. Also, I'm going to add you so I can give you the testing ID when I add the knife. :D

i had an idea on how the armors could work better. In lore, the spartan II armor didn't have a nightvision capability, the spartan IIs prefered using flashlights. The spartan IIIs and ODSTs used nightvision but they didn't have that same armor. I thought that for the IIIs and odsts you could have nightvision and for the IIs you could have a headlamp. Also I had the idea of the spartan helmets being in three parts, the helmet slot, mask slot, and glasses slot, by having the back and front plates of the helmet be seperate, and the visor be a seperate piece. This would allow for more lore friendly armor by the mask being able to act as a gasmask since spartans could spend short periods of time in a vaccum.
